Curried Rice Recipe



Cook onion and garlic in a 3-four quart hefty saucepan over med-low heat right up until softened. Add curry powder and rice and cook, stirring typically, about one min. Add water and salt and deliver to a boil, uncovered, with out stirring, until the surface of the rice is covered with steam holes and the grains on best appear dry (about eight minutes). Lessen heat to as lower as attainable, then cover with a tight fitting lid. Cook one more 15 minutes. Remove pan from heat and allow the curry rice stand one more 5 minutes ahead of serving.
